The Small and the Tall

Suburban neighborhoods do have some interesting holiday offerings, and I thought I'd get things back into seasonal perspective with these skeletons in front of a house we walked past this morning. They also have a bunch of other stuff  scattered about but mercifully no blow up ghouls.

The sound worked just fine for our Zoom Pilates this morning and we both did pretty well. I went to bed early with a headache last night, but I slept well and it had gone by this morning. I got one shot in each arm, but neither one feels particularly sore. I was planning to go to the lab to get blood drawn prior to a semi annual visit with the doctor, but something told me to call first and see if the orders were there since they were submitted 6 months ago. My intuition was right and they had no orders. It would have been good to have the results ready when I see her next week, but I must admit that I was just as happy to put it off as I'm already feeling a bit like a pincushion! Trying to get them resubmitted by any of the standard procedures for communicating with the office would be both futile and frustrating. I'd rather do it face to face!

My fabric finally arrived (by Pony Express?) from Missouri via Olathe Kansas, Stockton and Windsor California, so I was able to work on the last three rows of Will and Chloe's quilt. I'm going to find out if they are coming up for Thanksgiving. If they are, I'll give it to them then and save a lot on postage.

A quiet day today and another installment of Lupin tonight.
