Car Trip

The usual trip north to the ferry terminal we usually take to go to the island …..always like to see the blueberries bushes this time of year and also those snow geese on their way south.   But we took a different ferry we’ve not done before…2 hours to Nanaimo on Vancouver island,…by now it’s raining but a good calm trip. . ( put a pix of the port for freighters at tsawwassen ). And then a little drive north along Nanoose Bay where there is quite a bit of fall color…. To our destination. .. a lovely spa resort in Parksville , where we had a walk in the rain,  but not down to the beach …hoping it will be clearer in the morning.   We’re not spa people but we had a yummy dinner at the restaurant here and are enjoying our darling little log bungalow in the woods. ….
