Paradise Shelducks.....

Spotted these Paradise Shelducks today
when Mr J and I were driving through
the vineyards,so pretty,so stopped for a blip....
which got them rather excited and chattering to each other!
They form long term pair bonds,often lasting for life.
They graze on grass and weeds,and will raid crops,particularly
when molting.When molting occurs they cannot fly.
