Double delight

The roses are starting to flower. That’s always a nice time in the garden. 

Today I dug up onion weed from a garden bed, it’s terrible stuff to eradicate. I prefer not to use herbicides so am doing it by hand and boiling water. The tiny bulbs have hundreds of babies which are almost impossible to find. Then I planted punnets of asters, daisies and petunias in any spare spot in the beds.
