A lovely evening catching up with my old friend Karla, back in Japan for a few weeks. We worked together for almost sixteen years until she had to leave a couple of years ago when her beloved husband, and fellow co-worker, suddenly passed away. A wonderful couple and I feel honoured to know them, and their lovely son.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at a Hawaiian restaurant with a few other workmates. I had pescatore pasta, and a delicious dessert of peanut butter and mango ice cream with chocolate brownies and whipped cream, plus a pineapple juice. Absolutely delicious.
