St Mary's Abbey

In York running a one-day symposium. I've been coming to York a lot over the last seven years, but the project that brought me here ends in a couple of weeks, so this was a bit of a farewell.

At the end of the day I had half an hour between the close of the last session and the start of the dinner we were laying on for the 50+ people who had attended. Popped into the York Museum Gardens to take a look at the ruins of St Mary's Abbey. I find places like this very calming.
