Reprieve

The rain has held off for another day so we have seized the day and been back at the allotment. Mr EAnn has done a terrific job of repairing the seating area by the shed and as he used old pallets he got recycling brownie points and it was practically free. The remaining bed that had lots of weeds is now delightfully clear and I got the rhubarb and the flowers that had flopped over the path cut back. There’s always more work to do but it’s barely recognisable as the overgrown mess that we came home to after the summer.
