The old wrecks.

By the time I got home I felt like one of them!

I had an early start to catch my ferry to Mull,  which was already on Amber allert.  Decided to take my emergency overnight bag and risk it. 
Only one carer turned up for our walk,  so we went for a coffee instead,  and as Calmac were then starting to cancel ferries I decided the best thing was to forget about lunch and drive back to Craignure in the hope that I could get squeezed on an earlier boat on standby. 
Needless to say everyone else had made the same decision. The road was completely blocked by traffic in both directions at the ferry terminal  :(
After a tense wait I was the second last car to get on the Isle of Mull,  having to reverse onboard. 

I think I'll avoid travel for a few days!
