Conference Champions 2004

When Chester City returned to the Football League in 2004 after winning the Nationwide Conference they were presented with the trophy after winning the last home game against Scarborough. Naturally a bottle of cheap champagne also appeared to spray over the team and this is the actual bottle together with a photo taken on the day. 

This was found behind the bar during a recent refurbishment so with no-one knowing what to do with it I brought it home for safe keeping. For many years I have been collecting Chester memorabilia and I'm essentially the club archive. One day I would like to pass on the complete collection but the club themselves have nowhere to store or display anything so it is a bit of a dilemma.
