At the mast crane
With storm Babet on the way it could have been dodgy if I’d have waited much longer.
Zoe fired up the John Deere and hauled Firefly off to the crane and in less than an hour the mast was off, shrouds wrapped round it, and safely stowed in the mast store. When I told the gov she said I should put a label on it so I can find it again in March.
The wind indicator at the mast head is shot as expected, but there’s a rather nice (and expensive) LED tricolour steaming light.
