Getting wet

The foul weather has arrived, but I had to go into Bath this afternoon to buy some tea, (as we had run out). O took the opportunity to get some other bits of grocery shopping at the same time to get me out of the house.  

Bath was pretty empty due to the rain and the wind.   It really was quite dark, despite being only mid-afternoon.  In one of the alleys a street lamp remains permanently on, which  was a bit of a gift.  In a perfect world, I'd have liked someone to have been struggling with an umbrella but I wasn't  going to hang around and get even wetter waiting just in case. 

I've messed around with the colour in this shot, just in case you were wondering - it was raining and I was bored!
