Time to “batten down the hatches”

Into Aberdeen this morning to visit relatives for lunch and we had a fine time.
I picked up Mike, my step-brother/brother-in-law, and his wife on the way.
It was Mike’s birthday and here he is with a mini-cake.
He rather likes his photo being taken, unlike myself!
The weather forecast for the next few days is really bad - very heavy rain and strong winds.
Hence the title.
