Autumn (or perhaps winter) has definitely arrived in East Sussex! I stopped for a run on the way home, squeezing the last bit of daylight from the day before dark. It poured down. My shoes are in the bin, but rightly so - many miles have been covered in those shoes, and they are falling apart!

Jo has been told that she is a candidate for a bypass, and they are keeping her in hospital until the op. She is scared! I would be too, but I think it’s the best option.
