Dawyck House
Dawyck is an offshoot of Edinburgh Botanic Garden., located in the Borders and with a fine collections of trees from all over the world, many of which were brought to Scotland by famous victorian tree collectors.. I visited today with two of my friends, Eric and John. While it was dry and pleasant to walk in the woodlands it was fairly overcast and not a day for landscape photography. This is the only reasonable landscape shot I took today looking down towards Dawyck House as this enabled me to avoid the skyline. However, the leaves were beginning to turn so there was plenty of scope for atmospheric woodland shots and leaf macros.
