Storm Babet?

No sign of it here at Tibshelf services, just north of Nottingham, at coffee time on our way to the SW this morning. Sun in our faces all the way till we reached the end of the M42 near Birmingham. This shot was taken in the wide setting on my phone.
We stopped at Hopwood Park to eat our lunch and the rain arrived. Drove out of it as we reached Gloucestershire on the M5 but sadly it was back into it as we turned off for Bath. (Rain over Bath when we arrived - inset)

We were picking Jude up from nursery at 5.00 and it was raining really heavily. She didn’t seem to mind the short walk to the car but she had a bag of wet clothes from her outdoor play today.
Eda came home from after school club with her next door neighbours at 5.30, again lots of wet clothes, these girls have such long days!

We’d brought tea/supper with us so we were ready to all sit down when Grace got in just after 6.00pm. John has been in Norwich today so not sure when he’ll get back on the train.

Girls all bathed and in bed now. Good to be here, let’s hope, the storm passes by soon.
