Moss Side
Not the best of days today as yesterday we received the news that Julie's Dad had sadly passed away around tea time . I was driving home after picking Julie up so we made a detour to the care home to see him at peace. I stayed for a short time then came home to feed Minstrel and sort a few bits out.
It was late when Julie was ready to be picked up so we left ringing the family and friends until this morning .
This afternoon we decided to get out of the house and go for a walk to find a blip .The weather is set to turn in fact as I type this after tea the rain has started to arrive with some wind .
We went for a walk around Swanholme lakes to try and find some fungi as its that time of year. A few nice bits around including some Flyagaric that was fairly fresh as some still had soil on them , not the big numbers we have normally seen probably just a little early for them but nice to see all the same. I have gone with this one growing out of the moss some other shots are on Flickr .
A relaxed evening now with some general TV viewing
