Next to the library

A sunny Tuesday.

After work I went to the cinema again. To see the film Golda. About Golda Meir and the Yom Kippur war in 1973. Such a weird coincidence that this film is out in Dutch cinema's at the same time there's another war going on. A very different kind of war. From what I understand from the film Israel was attacked and fought cleverly back to regain control. And Golda Meir was a master at getting the results she wanted. An interesting film.

In those days it was a war between armies. Tragic as well. But those were soldiers that died. Now it's civilians, on both sides. They didn't ask for war.
