Birthday treats

As my birthday has fallen on a Wednesday and this is hubby’s day off work we made the most of it.
Lovely full English breakfast at a craft village on the way to Nottingham. Enjoyed looking about the automaton shop there too.
On to an afternoon’s horse racing in Nottingham. We didn’t back a winner in the first three races but recovered to win the last four races. The weather wasn’t kind and we had to watch a lot of the racing from indoors.
Treacherous conditions on the motorway coming home, glad to be back home safely.
