No One Will Ever Know

Underneath the paint this figurine is made of pewter, I have another one consisting of a diorama of two figures, again Paratroopers, called 'Drop Zone’. 
They both came from a charity shop in town during the Armed Forces Day weekend, I know their value, both monetary and to members of the Airborne Association so I purchased them intending to donate them to the Parachute Regiment Association, Cornwall.
Today’s photograph shows before and after, on the left before cleaning and repair, on the right cleaned and with the barrel of his machine gun restored.
They’ll never notice.

Different Monday than usual, the push to hold meetings that to some are important has elicited no enthusiasm from me whatsoever but the rugby club meeting tonight lasted only two hours, thirty minutes down on last months time.
