As planned, we did go to Telford today. Not on the schedule, however, was a visit to the ENT unit at the Princess Royal Hospital. A very thorough examination revealed an acute ear infection and I now have seven days worth of antibiotic ear drops and tablets to take. I can't say that the examination and subsequent treatment were comfortable but I am very grateful for the prompt and professional service from staff at both Welshpool Medical Practice and Telford PRH. Unfortunately, it would seem likely that the bike will have to wait for another visit to set wheel on Welsh soil. On the plus side, the antibiotics only require that I avoid milk and indigestion remedies so I can at least have a beer. lloniannau!
