Neil Young.....

Another day of walking, except at a slower pace after the night before's antics.

Finally, the reason for being in Newcastle, the Neil Young gig.

The venue was vast, and we seemed to be at the furthest away point from the stage - but despite this, the 2.5 hrs he was on stage were amazing. For a man of 69 he brought such energy and passion.

There were a couple of self indulgent moments, but really, if you've been playing for as long as he has, I think you're allowed a moment or two.

Can't remember the last time I got so many goosebumps at a gig.


Fantastic. So glad I got to see him.
