Tennyson Sands

The day started fine. Gradually, a thin veil of cloud stretched eastwards. We drove to Gibraltar Point moving seats outside the Visitor Centre into the lee of the building to drink our lattes as much as possible out of the wind.

Then we went to one of the hides at Tennyson's Sands. Very few birds despite repeated items on the news that there would be an influx of migratory birds from the continent during Storm Babet. A few desultory ducks which I shall to try and identify when I get the photos up on the desktop.

Concluded our visit by calling at The Atlantic Fish Bar in Skeg where I was able to eat gluten free fish and chips, a real treat. Basil was made very welcome.
