New flower

No. Not this gorgeous Cosmos. I have my first ever  Dahlia.

This is the second year I’ve tried to grow them. I can manage lots of foliage but finally I have a bloom. It’s small, unimpressive, but a bloom.

When I visit NT or RHS gardens I ask for advice.

But my total inability to grow these apparently straightforward plants just seems to puzzle them.

I’m not much better with radishes either……
