Wednesday witterings

The primrose is flowering in our front garden. I've never known primroses flower at this time of year before. 
I thought it felt quite warm this afternoon and had a quick glance at the outside temperature in full shade - 17.7C! No wonder I was sweating in my winter fleece while I swept up leaves.
