Sight and sound of the sea

Blips like this may occur regularly over the next few days, before we leave this place for good. 

To be able to sit with this view, to be able to watch and listen to the waves, whilst still being able to sew or read in the sunshine, is my idea of . . . perfect. 

Meanwhile in Paris . . . 
. . . Alice's great wish for  along time has been to go to Paris, so for her 17th birthday Mum and Aunt took her. They went early this morning from St Pancras and will return later tonight. They both know Paris very well and it would seem from the photos they sent that they managed just about everything! 


Extras are a few of the photos they sent - I've never been up Eiffel Tower - I think they walked! I had given Alice some money and it looks like she managed to do some shopping.
