2030 may be ?

It was just in the news again, that the result of the Swiss Olympic study to bid for the winter games 2030 is rather positive. The idea is a decentralized approach, using existing infrastructure all over the country. The only missing is speed skating. Will be interesting to see if the idea has a chance. In the last 35 years there were 8 attempts to organize a bid and none had a chance. The last attempts in 2017 and 2018 (for the 2026 games) were both were turned down at the ballot box.

The last Olympic Games in Switzerland were 1948 in St. Moritz and looking for a blip this evening at home, I found this envelope in the box with family memories.
