FAREWELL

Today was a funeral of a very lovely lady. Her son had written the most amazing tribute….I couldn’t even read it out loud to The Rev. She was diagnosed in March 2019 with cancer and was given 6 months. She has fought so hard, undergoing new treatments. In the last nearly 4 years she saw her daughter married and the arrival of her first grandchild in January.
I went up to Suz to watch the service on livestream as they lived quite a distance away. It was very moving.
I will remember Lesley for her love of musical theatre, for swiping a posh embroidered serviette from restaurants and for giving me the skills to run speech and language therapy sessions in several schools.
