Ongoing issues

We have a new wet mark on our bedroom ceiling.  We even went into the loft while it was raining very hard to see if we could find anything.  We were not able to and the loft seemed quite dry.  We are now wondering if the problem is with the side of the dormer window where it meets the roof at the bottom.

We are waiting to hear from NHBC if they will cover, but we suspect they will say not.  It feels that they should as our house is not that old and you do not expect to have to spend thousands sorting out a newish roof and maybe even more. The house insurance company has confirmed they will not cover us.

Rich went back to work, I just pottered about not doing much really.
