Blue Catfish

The Blue Catfish was introduced into the Chesapeake Bay Watershed in the 1970's in hopes of creating an immense sport fishery. It has since become the top predator in Virginia's coastal rivers reaching weights in excess of 100 pounds! I'm helping to conduct a diet study on these Blue Cats in order to determine if the influence they impose will have a severe detriment to the native species of these waterways.
