Peak Tram

This is the only picture I've taken today and it is right opposite the American Consulate.

So headed out into town first thing and got to the consulate well in time. All went really well and I am thrilled that they approved my visa. Everyone says of course they would, but you just never know.

This is St John's building in Central that houses the lower end of the Peak Tram. You can see the Big Bus Tour there dropping off some tourists. The Peak Tram tourist attraction is owned and run by the Peninsula group, so we get half price every time we go up there. Just one of the perks of working for the Pen!!

Jon finished his GCSEs today so his school holidays have started already, but sadly he's a bit under the weather and had to see a doctor. Ben is still in school till the 28th. Oh yes, summer holidays are in sight ...
