Highway to Nowhere

I kid you not, these are the directions on the Warringah Freeway approach to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. 
There are massive roadworks happening and for the second time recently we inadvertently ended up in the city due to confusing signs. These weren't much more helpful. 
The deviation cost us a tunnel and a bridge toll. At this rate all the extra tolls from lost drivers should just about pay for the "upgrade".
