Christening Cake

In a fit of hopeless optimism and because I really like them I have purchased yet another glass domed cake stand. My first one came from Ikea and got knocked over by a human boy and the second, a KitchenCraft one , got smashed by an enthusiastic puppy boy. Third time lucky perhaps? To celebrate its unveiling a new recipe; Chocolate Banana Cake. Recipe
The cake is sitting on the stand part and you'll just have to imagine the glass dome as it defied all efforts to get a presentable pic! The whole ensemble is now on the island in the kitchen waiting for hungry boys to arrive home. Hoping to keep it well stocked with homebakes and in one piece!
