If I must suffer, so will others.

Today the combined maladies of plague and allergies keep me home.

I decide to pass the time by trying to make my newest office desk addition for the Fall term look as evil as possible.

The idea behind purchasing this glazed, ceramic skull in Mexico is that I hope it will instill some sort of unspoken fear into students that visit my office looking for extra marks, that have feeble excuses for missing assignments/exams, or that waste my time and theirs by asking me to explain an entire lecture that they missed or talked through.

That's enough thinking about the Fall term for now...
