Breaking Waves

This morning the sea mist cleared and it was a warm, sunny morning with a gentle breeze. Although looking out to sea it did not appear very rought, huge waves were crashing on the rocks and beaches. This image was taken at Heybrook Bay near Plymouth. I didn't notice it at the time, but there is a grey heron perched on the top of the rocky outcrop!
