A wet day
It has been a couple of days since I finished my last book. Usually I have the next one ready to pick up. But somehow I didn't feel in the mood for any of my usual kind of books. I stopped thinking about the next one. Today I browsed the books I own but never read. I never read them because there's always something else that needs reading first. I started a Dutch book about the 20th century in the Netherlands. Non fiction. The events are centered around the author's father who was born in 1899. It's more of a slow read. Something I need right now with all that's going on in the world.
It has been translated in English. "My father's century", by Geert Mak, a historian.
