After the Storm

After I posted yesterday’s picture the weather got a lot worse. Heavy rain and strong wind throughout the evening and into the night. Cosmo got blown off her feet when she went out in the evening. Despite the gale here Aberdeen was a little to the north of the worst of the weather. 

This morning I set out to see what damage, if any, there was in my immediate area. The burn behind my apartment was full. Maybe no higher than I have seen it in the past, but definitely in full spate.

In a walk through the nearby gardens there was a lot of debris from the trees, and one large branch that had come down from one of the trees.

Today has been cold and breezy with intermittent showers. The strong wind continues into the night and tomorrow. We are also forecast to have heavy rain again tomorrow.
