Loughrigg tarn.

Tam and Jim are doing The Langdale Half Marathon tomorrow...

So today we checked out 5 miles+ of the route.

It's very, very scenic...Dungeon Ghyll, Blea Tarn, Little Langdale, Skelwith Bridge, Loughrigg Tarn, High Close, Elterwater, Chapel Stile, Dungeon Ghyll.

Lots of steep up and downs too!

( I've done loads of half marathons + marathons in the past, but my knees aren't up to it now.)

Extremely windy today...not much rain...thoughts and prayers for those affected by the flooding.
