Tree Light

In the absence of anything better to blip, here’s a photo of D’s new torch lighting up a tree in the garden. Thrilling stuff eh?
It was an odd day as I didn’t have to teach this morning but did 2 hours this afternoon. This meant waiting around all morning waiting to go to school.
Talking of waiting, Poppy has been waiting all day for Johnnie to arrive. They haven’t seen each other since she went to Cardiff and he was due to arrive this afternoon. Unfortunately most of the trains were cancelled due to the awful weather and the last I heard was that he had managed to get a train from Paddington to Bristol and was due in Cardiff about an hour ago. Fingers crossed he managed to arrive safely.
