Back in business

Have been using ChromeOS for a while now on an old home pc as it's ideal for my purposes. It does have an Achilles Heel though which is trying to use it with a printer because not many are compatible.

Our old laser has bitten the dust and in its place is now a hardly used one that my parents bought a few months before they went Chromebook in 2018. 

I was hoping Google had gotten their act together but nope still won't work so this evening's lazy task has been reinstalling Linux which seems to work well with everything thrown at it.

So far so good. I will miss the speed & simplicity of ChromeOS mind, so boo hoo on that front but hey ho never mind :-)
