The Empress

We went to the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith this evening to see the RSC production of The Empress and this is the stage before it began. It was a really poignant and thought-provoking anti-colonial story, and a great evening. It is also an interesting theatre - the original Victorian auditorium within a 1960s shell.
