Fall Red …

… this cloudy afternoon by our driveway. Deep red trees such as this one are much less common than the ubiquitous yellow and orange ones in this fall season.

This evening our cousins Beth and Jim came over, to enjoy an excellent dinner of salmon and salad with us. A special event was a lengthy and very enjoyable phone conversation with our mutual cousin Betsy, who lives in Los Angeles on the west coast.
