New Arrival

I am posting a photo of my Pineapple Sage flower today because I want to document the first flowers of the season. I love these flowers because they will bloom through the Winter for the Hummingbirds if I protect the plants from frost. I am adding this on Flower Friday, thanks to Anni.

We went to a Food Truck Court in Hillsboro tonight with our daughter, son Ron, and his wife. We sat next to a family with a little girl who was Ellie's age; she told us she went to the same school as Ellie AND she was in Ellie's class. Ellie was so excited when I told her that we met her classmate tonight at dinner.

Ron was doing well. I couldn't tell he had any problems at all. But he told me tonight that part of his well-being is to "act as if he is totally healthy". He said it helps others to not worry so much and it tells his brain that he is great. It seems to be working.
