Babet has arrived

No where near as awful as other parts of the country but still not very nice. Very heavy persistent rain but no wind and reasonable temperature.
This is the allotment part of the garden, lots of puddles and very soggy. It has been made worse because I have left the garage drainpipe running into the water tank rather than into the land drain system. The tank is large but totally full, the overflow running into this part of the garden. I went out and corrected this during a break in the rain, stable doors and horses bolting comes to mind.
Watched the rugby semi final, very disappointing compared to last weekend but its no surprise as those matches were exceptionally good. England play tonight, I don't expect them to win but it might be a better game.......hopefully
