It’s that time of the year …..

….. ….. ….. the vegetable garden is drying out. It’s supposed to have irrigation but it hasn’t been turned on yet. I’ve no idea why, but I thought I’d work out my own system anyway and got this watering wand weaving back and forward. It got everything nice and drenched. You can almost hear the soil gasping with relief, it has got so dry.

It’s been lovely and warm all day. Such a treat.

It was interesting watching the NZ All Blacks playing Argentina this morning, two teams evenly matched for fitness and strength, but with the ABs greater experience showing through. It was good to watch and I think the score might show it was more of a walkover than it actually was; 44 - 6
