49 years since

As I was passing Leicester I popped in to see my mum.
On the way I stopped off at Beacon Hill.
I recall being here on Friday 27th October 1974 with Roger Kerr and his dad Trevor.
I remember it because it was the last Friday of BST and the first successful attempt at slope soaring my single channel ‘bitza’ glider.
I can’t see where we would have flown as it now seems covered in trees.
