First pond of the Winter

The pond appeared late yesterday afternoon and had grown even bigger this morning due to more rain overnight and some seepage. I have already seen one male Mallard swimming on the pond, but did not get a picture of him.
 
Obviously, today’s picture is of the larger of our two ponds, this one is natural and is at the bottom of the orchard.
 
The temperature at noon today was again fifteen degrees Celsius.
