Twinnies!
This morning Jude dressed herself and chose this little plaid skirt (kilt). The T shirt came home with her on Wednesday after all her other clothes got wet and she won’t part with it.
As soon as Jude was wearing a skirt/kilt Eda wanted to wear one. I can guarantee she wouldn’t have worn it if we’d asked her to!
They brought a book up to my room as I was getting dressed and asked me to read it to them so I took the opportunity to take a snap of them together whilst they were there. The pose was Eda’s idea.
A lazy morning as the wedding party were still pretty shattered and I didn’t feel 100%. After lunch we went for a little walk with the girls and neighbours Geoff and Annette and Madeleine, Eda’s friend.
We went past the badger sets which are huge and very numerous. The undergrowth is still pretty overgrown so we didn’t go far from the path.
Eda has now gone to Madeleines and Grace has started getting ready for the event tonight which starts quite early. It is a Ball for the Bath Light Operatic Group (BLOG) she belongs to. It’s at Bath race course.
We’ve been told the girls are allowed to watch a bit of Strictly on a Saturday night before going to bed so I think that will exclude seeing the rugby, certainly not all if it. I’m not optimistic about it anyway after watching South Africa play last week.
Another busy night ahead but it has its compensations.
We picked up Jude at 5.00 pm at nursery yesterday and asked about the visit to the Pumpkin Patch. She said it was an emergency and there was a thunderstorm so they couldn’t go! She’s very dramatic! I asked the girl what the emergency was and she just said they did go in the mini bus only to find it was closed because of the wet conditions - so they went to Sainsbury’s instead and bought some pumpkins there!
