Bright eyes..

beautiful.

Survived a good field walk without a serious 'drop shoulder' roll with her new haircut!!! Miracles never cease!!

The wind is really picking up this afternoon and it seems to effect her behaviour while out walking. Firstly it makes her super energetic but also she stops more often and stares into the far distance sniffing heavily almost as if she can hear or smell things from afar that are not visible.. it almost spooks her sometimes and she will often stay pretty close to me when the wind is strong. We got to the bridge at the end of the meadow and a small duck with about 8 teeeny little ducklings in a tight huddle were swimming down the stream.. At first Flossie didn't notice them but then one panicked and splashed then the chase was on.. what a nightmare!!! Luckily for the ducks and for me.. they were the other side of the 6 ft stream and little Flossie doesn't much care to get wet!! Also once something is out of sight.. she thinks it has gone.. relief!! All's well that ends well.. no harm done and perhaps a good lesson for the little precious ducklings.

So for today we have a very white, bright eyed dog (long may it last!)
