…and many happy returns with continuing and ongoing thanks to all those that keep us afloat xx

This view links to the community challenge of ‘Connections’ as it reminded me of the blipmeet at Derwentwater when Blip was under threat … https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2132914386954618118  … at that point we didn’t know what the future held for the community.
Thankfully, here we all are today … hooray!

This morning I bagged up a load of Storm Babet wind blown leaves for leafmould and then headed over to Keswick to meet up with A for lunch. I parked up at Great Wood and walked through and blipped the Millennium Stone, carved from a block of Borrowdale volcanic rock, on my way. It was commissioned to celebrate one hundred years of the National Trust. Keswick was heaving but we managed to find a table and ensconced ourselves in the Square Orange. After a long lunch and catch up A headed back to the theatre where her partner is playing tonight and I made it back along a very peaceful lakeshore path to the car just as it got dark.
