Spate

The floods were much reduced today, when the rain finally stopped there was an amazing clarity to the atmosphere.
Started the day with a bit of a duvet morning. At midday was still in robe and embarrassed to have to run down the drive in my ‘goonie’ to unchain the gate and let in the window cleaner!
Went over to Flatford Mill for a breath of air, the Haywain would not have been fording the stream today for sure!!
